I am a horrible blogger. I have dreams and hopes of being better but I have failed myself. So pretty much for my own record keeping, here is our life in January. And it was a one of a kind January. We travelled down to Sarasota FL with a close friend spent a week on the beach. We all know my love for the beach and ocean, so being a beach bum for a week is the best thing ever for me.
While we were down there, I had this bright idea to take a day and drive over to Disney since it was close by. We had three kids between us, a three year old, a two year old and a six year old. We knew that Magic Kingdom was the place that they would enjoy themselves the most and since we just had that one day, we wanted to make sure they met the characters and tasted that wonderful magical feeling that Magic Kingdom has.
And boy, it was a magical (and extremely exhausting) day. We arrived before the park opened and we left as the night fire work show started. My friend and I pretty much felt like rockstars after tackling a day in Magic Kingdom ourselves with three little ones. My youngest, who is painfully shy, was just a little to young to really enjoy it, and it is because she is extremely shy. My friends little one loved it and my oldest loved it as well. 6 is what I think to be an awesome age to take them. We will for sure go back, and this time make Daddy go and stay for the week.
So we had a wonderful start to our new year. I mean who wouldn’t with a trip to the beach and Magic Kingdom.
Oh and all the Disney pictures and most of the beach ones were taken on my nifty 35mm with a mix of some Portra and Fuji. The last few are digital. 🙂
